What is TIMELY?
TIMELY is an EU-funded project. It started in January 2021 and will last up until March 2025. The objective is to develop and implement a platform that offers AI-powered applications, dashboards, and decision support tools. These tools will assist both patients and clinicians in personalizing healthcare by evaluating risks, predicting outcomes, and offering tailored interventions.
The platform will be built upon a functional foundation designed for interoperability with electronic health records and security mechanisms. AI within TIMELY will utilize extensive retrospective datasets to continuously monitor and assess risks. It will alert users to any deviations from defined therapy goals or unfavorable changes, while also suggesting appropriate interventions.

Adressing Unmet Needs in the Management of CAD Patients
Despite strong evidence of the effectiveness of cardiac rehabilitation (CR) in secondary prevention, program implementation and referral rates across Europe remain low. Additionally, patients' nonadherence to central CR components throughout the course of the disease limits long-term benefits.
Building a Strong Network of Expertise
The consortium under leadership of University of Amsterdam consists of 13 project members from all across Europe. TIMELY is also being supported by a high-ranked Advisory Board.
